The course criminology and Law from the University of Winchester provides a deep understanding of criminal and legal approaches to the world’s complex problems while solving a case. The course provides in-depth knowledge of many aspects of criminology such as criminal etiology, criminology as the sociology of law, and penology. The module involves practicing an application of different principles of crime and an understanding of how to investigate and solve such crimes. It is an interdisciplinary course and therefore challenging for the students as they study about fundamentals of criminology, the Law of crimes and minor acts, criminal psychology, police administration, procedural law, police science and forensic science, and forensic medicine.
